Over a hundred years of brewing
Kaneiwa Soy Sauce was founded in 1912, in Ogawa, Aridagawa, Wakayama.
In the late Meiji period (1868–1912), the founder trained in Yuasa, Kishu— a region long known as the birthplace of soy sauce brewing.
Surrounded by the Kii Mountains, which extend from Mount Koya (Koyasan), this area is blessed with pure, high-quality water.
For over a century, traditional methods using large wooden barrels have been carefully preserved.
Entrusted to nature and time, the soy sauce is slowly fermented and aged.
Here, the distinctive aroma and depth of Kaneiwa continue to develop, quietly and steadily.
